Recruitment Specialists, also called Talent Acquisition Specialists or Talent Locators, are responsible for finding the most talented individuals for an organisation. They usually work in conjunction with the head of the particular department that they're hiring for, and may either work within an external company or be contracted via a recruitment agency to serve the organisation. Recruitment specialists are often found within human resource departments, recruitment consultancies, or law firms. A talent management consultant will identify the skills and abilities required by businesses and find the right people with these abilities for a variety of positions. There are several key responsibilities of a recruitment specialist and there's no limit to what he or she can do. For instance, they could work as an HR manager or a recruiter.
