Recruitment Specialists, also called Talent Acquisition Specialists or Talent Locators, are responsible for finding the most talented individuals for an organisation. They usually work in conjunction with the head of the particular department that they're hiring for, and may either work within an external company or be contracted via a recruitment agency to serve the organisation. Recruitment specialists are often found within human resource departments, recruitment consultancies, or law firms. It's not uncommon for recruitment specialists to also conduct business online or through a private website. The most common reason for utilising a recruitment specialist is when a company needs to hire several different positions at one time.

A talent management consultant will identify the skills and abilities required by businesses and find the right people with these abilities for a variety of positions. There are several key responsibilities of a recruitment specialist and there's no limit to what he or she can do. For instance, they could work as an HR manager or a recruiter. The HR manager is responsible for recruitment, team building, performance management, providing training and development, managing staff satisfaction, implementing equality and workplace policies, implementing recruitment software, dealing with employee questions and managing complaints. In addition to their core responsibilities above, a talent manager can also perform other duties such as developing and implementing employee benefit plans, implementing employee compensation and benefits, collecting dues and penalties, reviewing compensation and benefits, preparing and presenting annual reports, setting up company-wide talent acquisition strategies, implementing employee training and development programs and recruiting new talent. A recruitment specialist can be an asset to any organization in a number of different ways and that is why so many organizations are seeking them out for their support. Their services can be utilized to take the load off their human resources department and free up their time to handle the other responsibilities that their organization has.
